Daniel Kevin showed interest in painting as a young man, but he did not think that his interest would develop into a career and become a real passion. Kevin grew up in Minnesota.
The surrounding nature, cowboys and Native Americans of the West captured Kevin's artistic imagination and inspired him to painting. Studying the work of classical artists like Rembrandt, Renoir and Monet, he was struck by their attention to detail, panoramic landscapes and the use of color. Kevin Daniel's painting combines love of nature and animals and interest in people and children.
His versatility as an artist brought him national fame and national prizes, he became the two-time winner of the Minnesota Duck Stamp.
