THE LOVE OF GOD
by Frederick M. Lehman, 1917
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond that highest star
And reaches to that lowest hell
O love of God, how so rich and pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever, evermore endure
The saints’ and angels, the angel's song
Praise God, Thank you Jesus
Praise His name
Thank you Lord, Thank You
Could we with ink the ocean fill
And where the sky of parchment made
Where every stalk on earth a quill
And every man, a scribe by trade
O love of God, how rich how pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever, evermore endure
The saints’ and angels, the angel's song
O love of God, how so rich, how so pure
How measureless and strong
It shall forever, evermore endure
The saints’ and angels, the angel's song
The saints’ and angels, the angel's song
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels, the angel's song
