APPROACHING  WINTER  by  © Gregory Paul Winter`s fury soon to be awaken The cold drifting snow, plows are in earnest The cold temps are not to be mistaken Time to go inside turn on the furnace Mother nature will show her full throttle Blizzards will strand, the wind will surely gust Hot chocolate is best in a bottle A thick coat and gloves, a sure bet and must Survival of the fittest, will come fast Slippery on the streets, drive with care Heavy snow will come, how long will it last Drive up a hill, but only if you dare Cold is here to stay, hot off the printer It`s soon to come, the approaching winter
