CRYSTAL TEARDROPS
by Frank Charles Clifton
Crystal teardrops falling from the sky,
realigning my thoughts brings a tear to my eye.
A tear, as gentle with joy as this,
proves that liquid pearls of love do exist.
Graciously, I accept the depths of these pools;
their essence more precious than the rarest of jewels.
This thought I give you, and a tear I cry,
a tear so sweet, only god knows why.
