HIDDEN  FEARS by  Mers L Shadle I hide my pains and fears from the world Outside I smile laughing and joking while all the while inside I am crying. Waiting for someone to notice that the smiles and laughter are forced I search for miles far and wide hoping to find someone who can see what I hide. I tell those who ask That I am okay they believe me and I wait everyday for someone to tell me  they know the truth and say, "tell me now, I am here for you."  I hide the pain with words and jokes But they are all simply the ghost that is what I fear  I am
