WHAT IF ?

What would you do
If one day you woke up
And you were all alone?
What if everyone you ever cared about
Was just ripped away from you,
Never to be seen again?
What if you thought they all cared,
But in the end
They never really did?
How would that make you feel?
What if no matter how hard you tried
It never seemed to be good enough?
You try to be friends with everyone,
But that just goes nowhere.
You think you are just a bother to everyone,
And that they really don't like you.
You just sit by yourself on the weekends,
Then go to school and make up stories
About things that make you sound "bad."
You really do drink,
But only to ease the pain.
What if your life had no meaning?
What if one day you felt great,
But then the next everything fell apart?
You love the only guy you can't have,
And the sad things is,
He knows, and doesn't seem to care.
What if you had no idea what to do?
You see yourself as a great person,
But what about everyone else?
You have one idea,
And they have another.
They have everyone,
And you have no one.
You just sit back and take the abuse.
You don't know what else to do.
They say they care,
But you know they don't,
Because if they did,
They'd be able to see,
But they can't.
You want to ask them one question.
You want to ask them,
"What if your life was like mine?"
